Bets on Sex Toy Stunts at WNBA Games Fuel Polymarket Critics (1)

Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham spoke out against it. Minnesota Lynx Coach Cheryl Reeve decried it for sexualizing women, saying “it’s not funny.” The American Gaming Association calls it “deeply problematic.”

They’re all criticizing recent misogynistic incidents of sex toys being tossed onto WNBA courts during games.

But betting platform Polymarket is monetizing those actions by offering wagers on which day another sex toy will be thrown and even its color.
