Citadel’s Griffin Says Fed Likely to Cut Once More This Year

Citadel’s Ken Griffin said he expects the Federal Reserve to cut its benchmark rate once more in 2025 as the central bank turns its focus to the labor market.

“I think they are going to cut one time more this year, two on the outside,” Griffin said Thursday in an interview with CNBC. “The Fed is nervous about the labor market because we did see this decline in number of jobs being created.”
