Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Chairman Richard Glick said Thursday he’s “confident” his renomination to another five-year term on the crucial panel will move forward, adding that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and White House officials have sought to get it over the finish line.
“I’m being told that there are a lot of folks at the White House, Senator Schumer, others that are working hard toward confirmation,” Glick said, speaking at an American Council on Renewable Energy event in Washington. “They’re confident—so I’m going to remain confident.”
