Fosun’s Fidelidade Picks Lazard as Adviser for Possible IPO (1)

Fidelidade – Companhia de Seguros SA, the Portuguese insurer controlled by China’s Fosun International Ltd, selected Lazard Inc. as its capital markets adviser for a potential initial public offering in Lisbon, according to people familiar with the matter.

Lazard was chosen following a competitive process involving several rival advisory firms, the people said, asking not to be identified because the discussions are private. Lazard is expected to help guide Fidelidade throughout the whole process, they said.

A representative for Lazard declined comment. Fidelidade declined to comment.
