Ohio Governor Candidate Ramaswamy Sells All His BuzzFeed Shares

Vivek Ramaswamy, the biotech entrepreneur who won the Republican Party’s nomination for Ohio governor this month, has sold off all his shares in BuzzFeed Inc.

The onetime presidential candidate sold 3.1 million shares at an average price of $1.56 on May 12 as well as 39,000 warrants at 4 cents each, according to a regulatory filing Thursday. Ramaswamy’s sale came the day after the company announced that media mogul Byron Allen was acquiring a 52% stake in BuzzFeed for $120 million.
