Burger King parent Restaurant Brands International Inc. convinced a federal judge to toss California Invasion of Privacy Act claims from a proposed class action over tracking cookies on the fast food chain’s website because the claims were filed too late.

California resident Daniel Pemberton said he timely went to arbitration over his claims that Burger King’s website didn’t remove unnecessary cookies when directed to.
