Jubilant Draximage Inc. says the nuclear pharmacies claiming in the Southern District of Alabama that it monopolizes the “radiopharmaceutical” market are just scapegoating it for their inability to innovate and adapt.
The antitrust lawsuit alleges a “multi-faceted scheme” by the Canadian company, which does businesses as Jubilant Radiopharma, to dominate the market for certain radiopharmaceuticals used in medical imaging, cancer therapies, and thyroid treatments. It was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama by Ionsouth-Mobile LLC, an independent nuclear pharmacy, and UPPI LLC, an association of nuclear pharmacies.
