Tronox Investor Sues After Record Stock Drop on Sales Setback

Tronox Holdings PLC and two of its top executives were accused in a proposed class action of misrepresenting the chemical company’s ability to forecast demand for its key pigment and zircon products.

The lawsuit, filed in the US District Court for the District of Connecticut where Tronox is headquartered, alleges the defendants violated federal securities laws by providing investors with material misrepresentations concerning the company’s expected revenue growth and strength in its commercial division.
