The Brazilian Government April 15 announced a proposal to increase, to 1,717 Brazilian reals (US$345) from 1,621 reals (US$325), the monthly minimum wage rate for 2027. The announcement also includes that the proposed minimum wage rate was included in the Draft Budget Guidelines Law (PLDO) for 2027, which was submitted to the National Congress on the same date.
