California CDTFA Publishes 2025 Sales and Use Tax Rates by County and City

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) has published the sales and use tax rates for county and city, effective Oct. 1. This document provides the combined state, county, local, and district sales and use tax rates for all 58 counties in California and their incorporated cities, with rates ranging from 7.25 percent in several counties to as high as 11.25 percent in the cities of Lancaster and Palmdale.
