CFOs Grow More Optimistic Despite Lingering Talent Challenges

North American financial executives grew more optimistic in the third quarter about their companies’ future business outlook even as they continue to be concerned about filling talent gaps, according to Deloitte survey results.

Ninety percent of the 200 chief financial officers surveyed by the Big Four accounting firm said they were more optimistic about their own company’s future prospects than previously, up from only 48% in the second quarter, said John Goff, a senior manager in Deloitte’s chief financial officer program.
