The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR) released the average market rates (AMRs) for retail marijuana. These rates will be effective from Oct. 1 through Sept. 30. The AMRs include rates for various types of unprocessed marijuana, such as buds, trim, plants, and seeds. A 15 percent excise tax is applied to retail marijuana based on either the AMR or the actual selling price. [Colo. Dep’t of Revenue, Press Release, 09/10/25]
