Leaders in Apple Inc.'s hometown said Wednesday they won’t ask residents to increase taxes in November 2024 to help make up for a 73% drop in sales tax revenue from the company’s online sales.
The Cupertino City Council voted 5-0 to forgo all four possible tax increases they were considering for the 2024 ballot because it is already crowded with three statewide tax questions.
