Dubai Crypto Event Token2049 Postponed as Iran War Continues

Token2049, one of crypto’s largest conferences globally, will no longer hold its Dubai event as planned next month, as the United Arab Emirates and other Middle Eastern countries face ongoing missile strikes from Iran.

The two-day event will now be postponed to April 2027 “in light of the ongoing uncertainty in the region and its impact on safety, international travel and logistics,” the organizers said in a statement on Friday. The cancellation was first reported by crypto journalist Colin Wu.
