The UK tax authority’s compliance team improved tax collection efficiency in 2024-25, according to its latest disclosure to lawmakers.
His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs’ compliance team generated £23.10 ($31.61) in yield for every £1 spent on its Customer Compliance Group workforce in 2024-25, the tax authority told Parliament’s Treasury Committee in a letter dated Feb. 9, published Wednesday. This increased from £22.1 per £1 spent in the previous year.
