Hong Kong Tax Agency Announces Filing Deadline, Requirements for Employer’s Return of Remuneration, Pensions

The Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department April 16 announced the filing deadline and requirements for Form BIR56A, Employer’s Return of Remuneration and Pensions, for the year ended March 31. The announcement includes that: 1) employers are required to complete and submit the form by May 1, together with Form IR56B for their relevant employees; 2) the returns can be filed electronically in the business and individual tax portals of eTAX; and 3) employers who employed staff for the year ended March 31 and who have not received the return from the Tax Agency, can request a duplicate return by paper, ...
