The Iowa Department of Revenue (DOR) proposed amendments to rules regarding the general requirement for alcohol licenses. The proposal includes measures to: 1) accurately reflect the fee charged to class “E” licensees for dishonored payment of alcoholic liquor purchases; 2) establish procedures for payment of disputed taxes; and 3) create a new rule, providing class “A” and special class “A” beer permittees, class “A” wine permittees, and wine direct shipper permittees with the procedure on how to dispute the taxes and related penalties.
