The Italian Revenue Agency Feb. 10 issued Letter No. 30/2026, clarifying the earthquake bonus on property purchases. The taxpayer, a contractor, converted a building from offices to residential units in August 2024, sold some units by Dec. 31, 2024, and expected to sell the remaining in 2025. The taxpayer inquired concerning buyers’ eligibility for the bonus.
