Liechtenstein Approves Proposal on Protocol to AEOI Agreement With EU

The Liechtenstein Government Oct. 7 announced the same date approval of the report and proposal on the protocol to the agreement on the automatic exchange of financial account information (AEOI) with the EU, to implement revisions under the common reporting standard (CRS). The announcement also states that the amended protocol would be signed Oct. 13, 2025, and would enter into force Jan. 1, 2026. [Liechtenstein, Government Portal, 10/07/25]
