A list of occupations eligible for the new “no tax on tips” provision is under White House regulatory review.
A proposed rule with the list was received Saturday by the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, according to OIRA’s website.
The list, which the White House issued last week, includes nearly 70 occupations in a variety of job categories, including waiters, cosmetologists, golf caddies, event DJs and dancers.
The break for tipped workers was included in the giant legislation on tax and spending cuts that was passed into law in July.
