Mexico Gazettes Agreements Setting Tax Incentives for Gasoline Sale, Production in U.S., Guatemala Border Regions

The Mexican Official Gazette May 8 published Agreement Nos. 70/2026 and 71/2026, setting tax incentives for: 1) companies engaging in the production and sale of gasoline products within an area up to 45 kilometers from the U.S. border; and 2) the production and sale of gasoline products in the border region with Guatemala. The rates are valid from May 9 to May 15. The agreements enter into force May 9. [Mexico, Official Gazette, 05/08/26]
