The Trump administration is initiating the termination of a number of IRS leases as part of its efforts to downsize the federal government, according to a copy of a letter to the agency obtained by Bloomberg Tax.
The leases at issue include 128 offices that host taxpayer assistance centers and five that include call sites, according to a person familiar with the situation.
