U.K.’s FCA Looking to Hire Head of New Digital Assets Department

U.K.’s financial watchdog, the Financial Conduct Authority, is looking to hire the head of digital assets department and build a new team, according to the agency’s job post on LinkedIn.

  • The head will need to build and lead a new crypto department that will lead and coordinate the FCA’s regulatory activity
    • The candidate will be accountable for leading the FCA’s approach to regulatory interventions within the crypto firms in the U.K., supervising businesses that may be involved in “scams and frauds”
