UK Sees Corporate Tax Receipts Tick Up Again in 2024-25

The UK’s corporate tax receipts continued their upward climb last year, albeit at a slower rate than in recent years, according to data published Thursday.

Receipts rose 4% in the 2024-25 financial year to £97.2 billion ($129.6 billion), new data from His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs showed.

The increase was less dramatic than in recent years, as the effects of corporation tax rate increases lessen and the UK’s economy continues its recovery from the pandemic.

Total liabilities for corporate taxes increased 9% last year, again growing at a slower rate than in previous years.
