A former attorney sued Blank Rome LLP on Friday after the firm allegedly failed to protect her from a male colleague who the attorney said sexually assaulted her.
The ex-associate, identified as Jane Doe, alleges Blank Rome violated federal law prohibiting sex discrimination, hostile work environment, and retaliation after she reported the assault, in a complaint filed in the US District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
