Bowlero Corp. and two subsidiaries engaged in nationwide discrimination against workers age 40 and older in a push to make over traditional bowling centers they acquired “into young, hip entertainment centers,” a federal lawsuit in New York charges.

The suit asserts claims under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act on behalf of 75 former employees who allegedly lost their jobs either because they were too old for their customer-facing roles under the new business model or because they complained about age bias.
