A Pennsylvania federal district court granted Crystal Window & Door Systems PA, LLC summary judgment on retaliation claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, 42 U.S.C. § 1981, and Pennsylvania law of a plant manager alleging that he was terminated in retaliation for refusing to fire two employees for missing their shifts, finding that his statement that firing Black employees would “look bad” didn’t express an objectively reasonable belief that the company was engaging in discrimination.
