The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sued WorkSmart Staffing, LLC, alleging it discriminated against a class of female job applicants by failing to hire or refer them to positions at one of its client companies, TCI of Alabama, LLC.
The suit filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Alabama on Monday alleges violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits employment discrimination based on sex.
