A California community college cannot enforce some stateDEI rules against a history professor suing to protect his right to speak out in opposition to such policies, a US court has ruled.

Plaintiff Daymon Johnson, who’s worked at Kern Community College District’s Bakersfield College for more than three decades, secured a preliminary injunction blocking his employer from taking action if he speaks negatively about the California community college regulations.
