Sunnova Assets Sold to Bankruptcy Lenders, Solar Investor (1)

A group of lenders and climate-focused investment firm GoodFinch Management bought most of the assets of of Sunnova Energy International Inc., the rooftop solar company that filed for bankruptcy in June.

The purchase includes Sunnova’s residential solar servicing, operations-management platform and its solar generation and storage portfolio, according to a statement Thursday.

The lender group, which has provided financing to fund Sunnova’s bankruptcy and its operation, is composed of Oaktree Capital Management, Farallon Capital Management, Owl Creek and Keyframe Capital, according to a court document dated June.
