Paris Theofanidis joined Sidley as a partner in the energy, transportation and infrastructure practice in Houston, the firm announced Monday.
Theofanidis’ practice focuses on finance, derivatives, and structured products, representing corporate borrowers, institutional investors, private equity funds, commercial banks, and underwriters in transactions such as syndicated bank finance, structured finance, project finance, and capital markets finance, the firm said.
He also advises dealers and corporate clients on over-the-counter derivatives transactions and structured products, as well as negotiating physically-settled commodity transactions.
He joins from Paul Hastings.
