Group Says States Should Refine Vision for Workforce System When Writing WIOA Plans

States should include a broad group of stakeholders and embrace the opportunity for innovation when formulating their workforce system development plans under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, speakers said during a Nov. 20 webinar hosted by the National Skills Coalition.

“We see WIOA as having great potential,” NSC State Policy Director Bryan Wilson told the webinar audience. “The state plan can be a tool for realizing innovation and opportunity.”
