Willkie Hires Nikita Kumar as Restructuring Partner in London

Nikita Kumar joined Willkie Farr & Gallagher as a partner in its restructuring department in London, the firm announced Wednesday.

Kumar counsels clients on domestic and cross-border stressed and distressed situations, including debt restructurings and liability management exercises. She represents creditors, debtors, sponsors and insolvency practitioners on various restructuring matters, and has experience advising funds on private credit restructurings, the firm said.

She joins from Simpson Thacher.
