Kaiser Employee Prevails in Pension Misrepresentation Lawsuit

A Kaiser Foundation Health Plan Inc. employee won her lawsuit saying she was inaccurately led to believe she was eligible to participate in the company’s supplemental pension program.

Kaiser “materially misrepresented” the worker’s eligibility in multiple phone calls over more than a decade, Judge Rita F. Lin of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said Monday.
