Maryland lawmakers voted to override Gov. 
The new law will raise the state’s wage floor from its current level of $10.10 per hour to $11 next year, with additional increases each year until the $15-per-hour level is reached in 2025. Companies with fewer than 15 employees have additional time to meet the wage schedule.
