EPA Chief Zeldin Names New Members of Science Advisory Board (1)

The EPA on Friday unveiled a new slate of members to an advisory panel whose guidance will feed into the agency’s many planned regulatory and deregulatory actions.

The appointments to the Environmental Protection Agency’s Science Advisory Board are the latest chapter in an ongoing back-and-forth battle between presidential administrations, each one purging its predecessor’s boards and naming their own members.

Of the 37 new members, 21 come from academia. Schools represented include Yale University, Cornell University, Columbia University, and the University of California.
