The Trump administration violated federal law by firing six federal employees on probationary status, a government oversight agency determined in cases that could play a role in challenges to widespread civil servant terminations.
The Office of the Special Counsel asked the Merit Systems Protection Board to stay for 45 days the firings of six workers across various unspecified agencies, Special Counsel Hampton Dellinger said in a statement Monday.
