Arkansas dropped its lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency after the agency pulled its objections to state water pollution permits.
The Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment sued the agency in April 2022 after it refused to renew two National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permits more than a year after Arkansas submitted draft copies to the EPA.
