Entergy General Counsel Brown to Retire, Falstad to Be New GC

Marcus Brown, Entergy Corp.'s vice president and general counsel, will retire in the spring after a legal career spanning nearly four decades.

Starting Dec. 1, Brown will take on the role of executive legal advisor to Entergy’s chair and CEO, Drew Marsh, the energy company said Thursday. His responsibilities will be assumed by two executives who will report directly to Marsh: Dan Falstad, currently vice president, deputy general counsel and corporate secretary, will becomes senior vice president and general counsel, and will have oversight of the company’s ethics and compliance organization.
