The EPA must quickly finalize rules that stem and monitor oil and gas methane leaks, according to public comments Tuesday shared by environmentalists and health groups.
Comments were made at the agency’s first virtual public hearing session for a proposal unveiled in November, which further strengthens methane release rules targeted toward the oil and gas sector.
