Microsoft Moves Longtime HR Executive Hogan to New Strategy Post

Microsoft Corp.’s chief people officer, Kathleen Hogan, is moving to a strategy role, and will be replaced by a longtime deputy.

Hogan, the software company’s top human resources executive for more than 10 years, will become executive vice president of the Office of Strategy and Transformation, Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella said in a note to employees on Wednesday. Hogan will focus on “defining our overarching corporate strategy and structure and leading our continuous transformation as a company,” Nadella said in the note.
