Lockridge Grindal Nauen PLLP, a mid-sized law firm headquartered in Minneapolis, failed to honor a 15% referral fee agreement entitling an originating attorney to $660,000, a federal lawsuit alleges.
Vita Law Offices PC wants Lockridge to pay up to $1.98 million in treble damages for allegedly denying the existence of their referral agreement, according to a lawsuit filed in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
