Chevron, Ex-Counsel End Retaliation, Disability Bias Suit

Chevron Corp. and one of its former attorneys agreed to end a lawsuit alleging he was terminated after Chevron refused to provide accommodations for his son at a company-owned school for expatriates.

Judge William S. Orrick, of the US District Court for the Northern District of California, dismissed the case with prejudice Tuesday. Ryan Padden sued Chevron in May, asserting claims for associational disability discrimination and retaliation under the Americans with Disabilities Act and California law.
