Emerson College fired a former employee over her support for Palestine, she alleges in a lawsuit.
Anna Feder, who had worked at the college for 17 years, claims she was fired “for asserting her legally guaranteed right to freedom of speech and expression,” according to the lawsuit filed Tuesday in Massachusetts Superior Court, Suffolk County.
Feder alleges that she was terminated from her position curating films and festivals after she resisted postponing a screening of a documentary about Jewish people shifting their support for Israel.
