Attorney James McHugh has been tapped to serve as deputy assistant secretary at the US Labor Department’s Mine Safety and Health Administration.
McHugh spent the last12 years at Pence Law Firm PLLC, a Charleston, W. Va. firm that represents coal mine operators. He has over 25 years of experience in representing business and labor unions in West Virginia on MSHA and US Occupational Safety and Health litigation, according to his LinkedIn profile.
