Complaints Over Courtroom Diversity Orders Rejected by Judge (2)

The chief judge of the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit rejected complaints against three district judges who issued orders promoting argument opportunities for younger, diverse lawyers.

Chief Judge Diane Sykes in a Thursday order dismissed misconduct complaints filed by the conservative groups America First Legal Foundation and Judicial Watch against one judge, and concluded complaints against two others. She said that all three judges took corrective action that resolved the issues raised in the complaints.
