Ninth Circuit Wrestles With Military’s Transgender Service Ban

The Ninth Circuit pressed the Trump administration on the constitutionality of its service ban to seven transgender military service members, citing their exemplary records during oral arguments Monday.

But the three-judge panel struggled with how to interpret a shadow docket order by the US Supreme Court pausing an injunction on the transgender servicemember ban.
