Van Hilderbrand joined Honigman as a partner in the real estate services practice group in Washington, the firm announced Monday.
Hilderbrand focuses on environmental and energy matters, advising clients on regulatory compliance, sustainability goals, and environmental risks in business and real estate transactions. He conducts environmental due diligence, assists with permitting issues, helps navigate climate change issues, and manages climate-related risks, the firm said.
Hilderbrand joins from Miles & Stockbridge.
