Trans Youths, State Drop Suit Over Gender-Affirming Care Ban (2)

Transgender advocates, Alabama, and the United States have agreed to drop a lawsuit alleging the state’s ban on gender-affirming care for minors is unconstitutional, the parties told a federal court.

They asked the US District Court for the Middle District of Alabama on Thursday to close the case following three years of litigation that included a trip to the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
