- Jack Quinn, the DC lawyer-lobbyist who worked for Manatt, Phelps & Phillips in recent years, and who served as President Bill Clinton’s White House counsel, died on May 8 at 74. Quinn, “the consummate Washington insider, sought after by politicians, corporations and other clients for his legal expertise,” was with Arnold & Porter for about two decades starting in 1976.
